While Logos Hope was in the floating dry dock and the lay-up berth, the carpenters were hard at work. They converted what had been the men’s changing room for deck and engine room workers into a store for dry food. The previous dry store has now become a freezer and the old freezer is now used as storage for engine parts. Storekeeper Trevor Robinson (Canada) is grateful for the change. “The new dry store makes my life so much easier,” he commented. Now when provisions arrive, Trevor can simply load them through the shell door on Deck 3 and then take them into the store on the same level instead of having to carry them down to Deck 2. “I am very grateful to the maintenance guys for all their hard work,” he added.
