The 215 crewmembers and projects workers remaining on board will experience Logos Hope in a new way during this year’s 12 week dry dock. As ventilation and water is cut off for work on the front of the ship, many crewmembers had to pack and move cabins. Normally a conference room, Logos Lounge has been converted into the main dining room, and the ship’s school will be used as accommodation. Teams can expect long working days and hot temperatures, but also good food and a unique community spirit. “Much of this dry dock is about meeting current needs, but it’s also about preparing for the Power Up Logos Hope project next year,” said Personnel Manager Dan Wallis (Wales), who fondly remembers his dry dock time on sister ship Logos II. “I think it will be a really good time for the community.”
