Amid the grit and grime of dry dock, 'angels' (the accommodation team) grace Logos Hope with their service. During normal operation they ensure the cleanliness of community spaces, the experience deck, and do laundry for most of the crew. But during dry dock these women go the extra mile. “This period is different. We are cleaning personal cabins since the crew are so busy and tired. With so many project workers and the extreme temperatures, we now do the engine department’s laundry around the clock, with an 'angel' on duty during the night,” explains Wendy Armijos (Ecuador), the laundry 'queen' (leader). “It’s hard and tiring, but the community is more open and we mingle more. During dry dock the guys take care of us. Now I see gentlemen all around willing to give us a hand.”
